Merchant Freight Forwarding / Logistics Services

To strengthen our Transportation department at the Langenfeld location, we are currently seeking a permanent employee as a Merchant (m/f/d) for Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services.

WHO we are looking for - Your tasks and responsibilities as a Merchant (m/f/d) for Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services:

• Operational transport organization involving all modes of transportation from European shipping locations to worldwide recipients
• Monitoring the transport process based on status updates and, if necessary, taking actions in day-to-day operations
• Resolving logistical issues arising from daily operations in line with our customers' needs
• Preparation of reports and evaluations
• Continuous improvement of existing processes
• Competent contact person (m/f/d) for our customers, suppliers, and freight forwarders

WHAT we expect - Your personal profile:

• Successfully completed vocational training as a Merchant (m/f/d) for Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services or relevant experience in transport logistics
• Practical experience in operational transport logistics, including road transport, sea freight, and air freight
• Customer-oriented and solution-focused communication skills, as well as excellent organizational abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Good verbal and written German and English skills
